On this week’s episode, Jake’s defense attorney girlfriend Sophia returns and confronts him about some issues their relationship is facing, while Amy tries to settle Gina and Boyle’s argument about the future of the relationship between their parents and Holt seeks out Rosa’s advice regarding Wuntch.
In the first episode of the new year, the squad goes all out in an attempt to bond and arrange their annual detectives only getaway (Or, as Jake called it, D.O.G. party) to take place at the beach house Boyle got from his divorce. What was meant to be a weekend of drinking, gossiping and cracking jokes at the expense of their boss is destroyed when Jake, after learning that Holt was often excluded from his own squad’s “joshing around,” invites the captain along. In other news, Rosa seeks Boyle’s help in flirting with her new boyfriend Marcus, “Vacation Terry” refuses to feel any stress, and Gina tries really hard to get Amy “six-drink drunk” in hopes that she’ll be able to befriend that version of her.
Eight seasons in and most shows would be showing signs of a permanent decline. “Big Bang Theory,” on the other hand, is just as funny as ever. It’s not exactly redefining the comedy landscape, but when you turn on an episode of “Big Bang Theory,” you can always expect to chuckle a lot and laugh out loud a few times. And sometimes you cry too, like when Sheldon FINALLY told Amy he loved her. More often you’ll cringe, like when Stuart had a date with Howard’s cousin who Howard had, umm…I take it back, this is a stupid show. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. – Josh
This week’s episode of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” was all about the post office. Well, the United States Postal Service (USPS, or as they called it “Uspis”) to be more specific. As the gigglepig task force was put under more pressure to make big arrests, the detectives teamed up with USPS after uncovering a new lead connected to the postal service. Meanwhile, Amy struggled to quit smoking even with help from Terry, Holt and Gina, who all shared the stories of their own unique addictions.
On this week’s “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” everyone’s secrets are revealed when Internal Affairs shows up at the precinct to investigate a mole. Apparently, someone has been leaking classified information to criminals and Jake is the prime suspect.
