That was one hell of a show. Every aspect of Super Bowl XLIX lived up to the hype, which is more than can be said for the walloping the Seahawks put on the Broncos last year. This year, the Hawks were beaten by Tom Brady’s Patriots in possibly the most heartbreaking football moment since the Titans came up one yard short in Super Bowl XXXIV.
***I will go into a few specific details of events from this show, so SPOILER ALERT***
I had a weird relationship with “Breaking Bad” before I started my binge a little over a month ago. I had tried it a few years ago but was bored by the first few episodes and gave up, admittedly too quickly. Ever since, all I heard about it was that it was god’s gift to television and the greatest show ever and yada yada yada.
As far as the night’s winners go, last night’s Emmy awards were far from surprising. It seems the Emmy judges only watch “Modern Family” and “Breaking Bad” (though the latter actually deserved its awards). But everything in between the awards, you know the stuff that makes the show last three hours, was full of unexpected laughs, led by the amazing Seth Meyers.
In no particular order, here are some moments that stood out to us from Binge Central.
1. Billy Eichner’s special “Billy on the Street” segment
“Billy on the Street” can be hit or miss depending on the guests on the show, but this one was definitely a hit. Wow, do this many people really not know what an Emmy looks like or who Seth Meyers is? I guess they have lives…
