All of Barry’s training was tested this week on “The Flash” when he encountered a meta-human with the power to teleport and a selfish agenda. Meanwhile, Cisco runs into trouble while investigating what happened to Ronnie and Caitlin deals with her lack of social life by doing karaoke.
This week’s episode of “The Flash” was all about being disappointed by heroes, with Wells breaking the trust of his team after the arrival of a vengeful former S.T.A.R. Labs employee and Iris having to deal with the reality that her new reporting mentor and journalism idol might be a jerk.
I’m going to keep my superhero reviews short and sweet. “Arrow” is in flux while Oliver recovers from his duel with Ra’as al Ghul, and “Agent Carter” came out the gate strong and has cooled down a little since. Let’s mix DC and Marvel:
“The Flash” is back after a long midseason break, and Barry has some difficult choices to make. In the first episode of the New Year, Barry deals with old foe Leonard Snart (aka Captain Cold) as well as the decision to focus on enhancing his abilities versus trying to save everyone all the time. Meanwhile, Caitlin looks into Firestorm and Iris moves in with Eddie despite knowing that Barry’s in love with her.
