10.) Big Bang Theory

Eight seasons in and most shows would be showing signs of a permanent decline. “Big Bang Theory,” on the other hand, is just as funny as ever. It’s not exactly redefining the comedy landscape, but when you turn on an episode of “Big Bang Theory,” you can always expect to chuckle a lot and laugh out loud a few times. And sometimes you cry too, like when Sheldon FINALLY told Amy he loved her. More often you’ll cringe, like when Stuart had a date with Howard’s cousin who Howard had, umm…I take it back, this is a stupid show. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. – Josh

THE MINDY PROJECT, S3E5 ROUNDTABLE: ‘That’s how it’s done’

“Mindy” has now become so risque that FOX has slapped it with a “Viewer Discretion Advised” warning before the episode. Not that this week’s episode veered into last week’s “I slipped” territory, but it certainly focused on some topics not usually discussed on network TV. And it even featured a Shonda Rhimes cameo!

The Mindy Project S3E2 Roundtable: “She Thinks You’re the Cleaning Lady”

The season premiere certainly set the bar high for “Mindy’s” third season. How did they follow Diamond Dan? By introducing his mother, naturally. Rhea Perlman (aka the mom from “Matilda,” aka Ms. Danny DeVito) stepped in to play Annette Castellano, a racist, religious, loud-mouthed Staten Island mom. Anyone who talks as much (if not more) than Mindy is a worthy adversary for Ms. Lahiri.
